Fannie Mae just announced that they are once again offering 3.5% towards a buyers closing costs on HomePath eligible properties.  Now is the time to act because it’s only available for a limited time and 3.5% towards your closing cost is huge.

, Fannie hasn’t forgotten about you. They are offering you atoo if your buyer purchases a Fannie Mae owned property.

Fannie Mae owned properties qualify for a special program called . Under the Fannie Mae HomePath you may purchase a home with as little as 3% down, no appraisal, and no mortgage insurance. Combine that will the 3.5% closing cost incentive and that’s quite a good loan.

Another option under this program is the Fannie Mae HomePath Renovation loan. While this loan will require an appraisal it a great option for those homes that require a little rehab to be “movein” ready. The closing cost incentive still applies to these homes.

  • The offer must be accepted on or after June 14, 2011
  • The loan must close on or before October 31, 2011
  • The home must be owner occupied

so there is ample time to meet the October 31st deadline. This incentive had a tremendous response last year and it’s great to see it being offered again. Give me a call today and let me help you with your HomePath financing.
